DescriptionBotanical print of Ixia Polystachia (white-and-yellow-flower cornlily), a plant with a bulbous root, thin green stem and leaves, and white flowers with red veining. The plant is cut in half to fit on the page; detail of the flower and seed are included near the bottom. Plate 126 from volume III of "Les Liliacées".
