DescriptionSnowy Promontory Point is a man-made peninsula jutting into Lake Michigan & located in Chicago's Burnham Park. As a WPA Project, the Point was constructed in the mid-1930s from landfill, and protected by a seawall. The historical 1937 Fieldhouse is seen here on the point.
