DescriptionPortfolio in linen case with title page, poem, prints and colophon each printed separately. Suite of 6 prints from an edition of 33; this is number 12 in the edition. Each print is signed on the front bottom right corner with a graphite pencil. Each print depicts a bouquet of flowers (peonies, roses, hyacinth, hydrangea, and lilies) in a palette of muted colors. Lines throughout the background of each print are the result of the scratched copper plates used by the artist. These lend the appearance of age and reference the artist’s inspiration from floral prints of the 1600s-1700s.
