DescriptionLarge jar with rounded bottom supported by footing ring with flaring base. Bottom rounds up into wall with raised ring near bottom, rounding smoothly inward on upper wall to long neck with flaring rim. Attached animal head at bottom of neck, perhaps doglike, with rounded ears, pointy snout and large mouth, tongue looping down to wall. Panels of geometric forms and stepped motif around neck. Wall divided into 4 sections by vertical black bands, black and red bands around bottom and footing, attached head has features highlighted in black and red.
