Descriptionclose-up portrait (head and shoulders) of a refined woman wearing a drop pearl earring. Parted, oiled hair carefully arranged; lace collar; vignetted; oval frame. Handwritten on paper and pinned to inside of daguerreotype leatherette case padding, the word, “HILL.” Strong possibility of family connection between this daguerreotype and that of the little boy.
