DescriptionSmall elliptical jar, bean shaped, with flattened base are, rounding into outward curving walls, curving sharply inwards at 3/4 height to cover top circular mouth opening at one side of top with raised rim with outward flare. Handle loop attached vertically to far side of rim and upper wall. Brown ware with orange-brown slip. Applied face on upper side opposite opening, curved ridges for ears, large curved eyebrows meeting at raised circular nose, coffee bean eyes and mouth. Incised squiggly lines on upper wall behind face (hair?)
