Small bowl with slightly rounded base supported on small tripod nubbins, area between nubbins is slightly concave.  Wall rises straight with slight outward slope to rim.  2 inscribed bands near rim, another near bottom frame panel area - 2 inscribed monkey figures on opposite sides - reclined with knees bent, hands held out in front, long tail curling out behind.

Raised on three monster mask and claw feet, well carved around the sides with three spaced foliate masks, interrupted by two horned monster mask handles suspending loose rings, the fitted, domed cover with matching decoration, encircling the hollowed ring knop with three tubular tabs, the dark green stone with typical black inclusions and white rivering.

With shallow rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, brightly enameled with a central medallion of three archaistic phoenixes encircling a stylized lotus blossom borne on curling stems repeated in a frieze on the exterior, a border of C-shaped motifs enclosing a dot encircling the foot.

A fine miniature jade water vessel of modified archaic bronze gui form, the round body, supported on three low conical feet, the mouth rim set with two rectangular handles flared steeply out from the rim. The jade warm greyish-white color with darker striations.
