DescriptionImage of Kongo power figure (nkisi) with enlarged naturalistic head, red collaged lips, and broken legs, rendered in watercolor, with paper cut out hands from fashion magazines emanating from the body of the figure, nails floating in space around figure, red ropes on either side, and a small figure of St. Michale (collage image); plinth of figure has dates 1869-1960. The figure is being pulled off its plinth.
