DescriptionTwo Adelomyia Castaneiventris (Chestnut-Bellied Adelomyia) hummingbirds with green backs and brown bellies; one bird has a brighter green patch on its head. Both birds stand on a plant with thin thorny stems and green leaves. Plate 203 from volume III of "A Monograph of the Trochilidae, or Family of Hummingbirds", London, 1849-1861 (supplement printed 1880-1887).
