DescriptionFour Tryphaena Duponti (Sparkling-tail) hummingbirds, three males with blue throats, white chests, green bellies and backs, and forking green, yellow, and white tails, a female with a green head and yellow chest and belly, and a nest. The female and one male stand on the thorny branches of a plant with green leaves, while two males fly nearby. Plate 158 from volume III of "A Monograph of the Trochilidae, or Family of Hummingbirds" (London, 1849-1861).
